can i skip assignments and do exams statistically?

So, ive read every forum here, but cant seem to find an answer. Im taking flvs flex for HOPE which is like PE but on the internet ig. I'm wondering though, as i already have enough classes to worry about senior year, is it viable to not take any assignments and do only the exams? would i be able to pass without taking the assignments as long as i pass the exams?
