Hello just looking for other people opinions on a rejig of my finances.
I have an ISA that is x5 the size of my pension. 50k vs 10k
I'm 36yr old with 75% equity in my house.
Able to save 30% of my monthly income comfortably considering current economic conditions.
I am looking to rebalance my ISA vs SIPP by taking 50% out of ISA and loading up my pension.
I can't see a negatives to the plan but would like some other people's perspective. I recently spoke with a financial broker and he suggested my pension should be my biggest holding so curious to see what others think.
For reference I do hold 6 months emergency funds to hedge on any gaps in employment or life emergencies.
Edit: I would like to be semi retired early 50s I don't expect to stop working or to do nothing in my later years. Just want the option to work rather than the need to work if that makes sense
