Anyone else feel like the World of Ruin bit (besides being slightly pandering) was underutilized in the game? The game certainly could have used it as a half way point instead of a footnote at the plot's end. The game already copy's VI enough, that would have been a fun moment to go and rescue the other party members and even pushed some of the open world sidequests into this half of the game.
