Hey all,

So I graciously was gifted a ps5 for Christmas along with a physical copy of FF7 Remake. I only really wanted this for the desire of FF7 Rebirth. I haven't played games much since 2002, so I'm still very much in the mindset of buying the game and playing the game. I haven't really owned a console since Playatation 2, and even that I didn't play much.

I borrowed my brother in laws PS4 and played the game to completion, not realizing that this was a multi part game figured I now needed to have my own copy but couldn't justify buying a $600 game as I had no interest in a PS5 outside if this game. Found out it was on Steam, great I'll buy it there and continue the adventure... I played it to completion... again... played the Yuffie part... almost to completion. Great ready for part 2. I find out it's a PS5 exclusive... fine... whatever.... don't care.

Christmas was gifted a PS5 and a physical copy of the game. Installed it played it to absolute 100% completion. It started to feel like work, and being a dad with a wife that has some disabilities my time to play is super limited, but I'm a completionist and wanted to have everything for Rebirth.

Yesterday, I decided to play the Yuffie storyline. I hate Yuffie, and i hate the boxes... but Im a completionist, so let's do it... says it's not installed, and I need a code. Pull out the box, find the code... it's not supported in my region???? I played the game. Why wouldn't the same code from the same game work on the same system??? So, after about an hour of reading through everything, I realize that I have what appears to be a UK version of the game.

Okay, so what do I do now? I can't be the only person who has this issue. How can I play the game that I legally own, and how can I use my save file for Rebirth? I have 0 desire to buy another copy which would mean sadly this PS5 is useless (tried getting kids invovled in other gsmes, they prefer minecraft and steam games) and even less then 0 to play through it again, so what can I do?
