BOSS: Titan (XIV)

Difficulties: 160 (Ultimate ) and 220 (Apocalypse )

Mastery Conditions:

• Win with 4 or more party members alive.
• Reduce Titan's ATK.
• Reduce Titan's MAG.

Overview:

• Fight is split into 3 phases: a default phase, a Heart (Weak) phase, and a Very Weak phase.
• Has a mix of physical and magical Earth-elemental attacks.
• You have 5 turns to burst down the Heart in his Weak phase, otherwise he does a crap ton of damage (probably enough to wipe your entire party). This phase is a DPS race.
• Can Confuse your party members.
• To my recollection, doesn't have any elemental weaknesses or resistances, but it's probably best to avoid bringing Earth-elemental damage anyway.
• To my recollection, this fight has all phase musics correctly done too! Well done DeNA!

Tips:

• Bring Astra/Affliction Break so Confuse doesn't hold you back in the Heart phase DPS race.
• Go with Earth-elemental resistance accessories.
• Make sure you have a good balance of DPS, heals and breakdowns. You can't turtle through the Heart phase.
• Utilize Imperils to create a weakness to exploit during the Heart phase.
• Don't forget your 2 tanks/2 healers/4 DPS comp! And don't forget the Dragoon of course.
