BOSS: Bahamut (VIII)

Difficulties: 160 (Ultimate ) and 200 (Apocalypse)

Overview:

• Mainly uses Attack (standard single-hit physical attack, which is NAT for some reason), Thundaga (AoE heavy Lightning-elemental damage on all party members), and Tornado (AoE 30% of current HP to all party members).
• Has the ability to use Stop, which afflicts Stop to all party members. Thankfully he doesn't use it too often.
• Last but not least, Ultimate: Megaflare which does piercing AoE Non-elemental magic damage to all members.
• Also has a NAT physical counter attack that pierces Defense.
• Immune to Thunder, Earth, and Wind. Resists Bio.

Tips:

• Almost all, if not all, of Bahamut's attacks ignores DEF/RES, so you can highly consider leaving Wall, Shellga and Protectga at home.
• Bahamut uses Ultimate: Thundaga more than Ultimate: Tornado, so Lightning-resistance gear is probably the way to go.
• Debuffs are the way to go here. The likes of Vaan (Ark Blast), Agrias (Cleansing Strike), and Faris/Noel/Wakka (Full Breakdown) will really reduce his damage.
• Lots of AoE goes out here, so make sure you have AoE heal as necessary.
