This thread is probably overdue.

It looks like Global releases its Apocalypse Multiplayer bosses on the same day as the Bonus Battles drop, so going forward there will be 3 megathreads:

• /u/dperez82's excellent event megathreads, which will always be stickied
• Relic Pull Megathread (Banner 2) which will be stickied for the first 6 - 7 hours of launch
• Multiplayer Megathread which will replace the Relic Pull Megathread (Banner 2) after the first 6 - 7 hours.

This thread will be created at the same time as Relic Pull Megathread (Banner 2) going forward.

As always, please keep shoutout posts here - all shoutout posts past the creation of this megathread will be deleted if not kept within this megathread.

PSA/Tips are allowed to live outside based on judgment of how good/useful it is. If the tip is minor, it should be kept inside this thread as well.

Raid Launch Multiplayer Enemy AI by /u/tfmurphy

BOSS: Barthandelus

Difficulties: 160 (Ultimate ) and 200 (Apocalypse)

Overview:

• All attacks in this fight are entirely magical.
• Ailettes and Pauldrons have to be destroyed to gain access to the main body.
• Ailettes are weak to Fire/Lightning, Pauldrons are weak to Ice/Water. Pauldrons are on the Left side, and Ailettes are on the right. They absorb opposing elements, and are otherwise resistant to all other elements.
• Barthandelus can buff Ailettes/Pauldrons with Enchanted Veil (Shell/Protect) or Mystic Aura (Haste, MAG buff). Barthandelus will Amp them after a few turns have passed - this grants them access to one level higher of magic spells (i.e. Fire becomes Fira, then becomes Firaga).
• Once the Ailettes and Pauldrons have been defeated, Barthandelus casts Doom (60s) on the party.
• When Barthandelus' HP has been brought below 50%, he will use Ultimate: Dispel, which removes all White Magic buffs, as well as stat buffs. The next turn is followed up by Mystic Aura, which grants him self-Haste and MAG 10% buff (remove with Magic Breakdown or similar effect).

Tips:

• Magic Lure works very well here. Grand Cross/Indomitable Blade/Runic work even better.
• Bring KO resistance to null the damage from Thanatosian Smile.
• Ultimate Dispel removes all stat buffs - including Sentinel's Grimoire/Stoneskin II, Vessel of Fate, and Shout. Prepare accordingly to rebuff. Alternatively, consider heavily stacking debuffs (Vaan's Ark Blast is very powerful in this fight).
• Banishing Strike/Dispel works well to remove the stat buffs Barthandelus bestows the Ailettes and Pauldrons - Protect and Shell make for a longer fight.
