Not the most relevant to the game itself, but with the recent event, it did bring this to mind.
So, I got a Blu-Ray copy of Advent Children Complete recently, but I'm curious when would be a good time to watch it.
I'm one of maybe 10 people in the Gaming World who has never played VII to completion (been busy between my schoolwork and trying to play IX), though I do know most of the big twists to that game's events by now (Aerith dies, Cloud's Memories, Zack, etc).
My question is, how much of the game should I know before going into AC? Do I need to have played the game myself to get anything out of it, or does a knowledge of the events without having finished it suffice?
