Hey guys.

If you have a mage weapon for a ninja, do you think Fireveil is worth bringing for the adds ? Yuffie with 330 MAG and Attunement II would do about 6k damage to them, 12 times ( but only about 2k to everything else). 7k if you have a fire boost armor. That's actually about all the AoE you need if you play your cards right with the flares.

Although I'm not sure what to do with her other slot.

Pros:

• More total uses. Fireveil is 3* so should be easy to max. Total damage to paired creepers would be about 72000.
• Soul Break Gauge will build very fast, if you have a decent soulbreak for Yuffie ( Wutai headband would be king, a shared heal or buff could work ).

Cons:

• Less damage per hit than most other fire abilities, so slower to kill Creepers overall. Benefits more from Haste though, in which case it might be more dps than other abilities..
• Requires very specific equipment, a magic weapon useable by a ninja with decent MAG, and maybe an armour with a decent SB.

Options for other slot ( can use while waiting for creepers to respawn ):

• DNC. Any could be useful depending on what your party needs.
• Steal Defense. For the debuff, in a phys focus team. Longer duration than DNC.
• Steal Time (against a creeper)/Quickness. If you don't bring hastega or haste.
• Steal Power. For the debuff.
• Phantasm. About 4k damage, better than nothing.
