I am having an interesting discussion with a commissioner of a new league I am in. I am used to leagues where all players are locked at their individual kickoff. Part of this includes not being able to drop thursday bench players after that kicks off. In this new league for me, someone just cut Gio Bernard for a defense. It is what it is if this is the rule they have. I just am curious what the default is for the major fantasy websites and what peoples thoughts are on this.

The main thing I do not like about this is technically that team had an extra player for the week, even if on their bench.

Only a $20 league. This post is mostly just to see what the norm is.
