Oh yeah it’s already midweek. We’ll say it’s alright because next maint is late too ok?

Elegant Temptress Lilith

Damage Tank can be a bit of an awkward one to rate when you do both quite competently, but lets start with the baselines. She’s sitting at 24t regularly and 50.8t at max morale with her own support, which give base ratings of 29.5 and 31.0 respectively. For the former, she can obviously do better, so looking at her tank-based rating, the most obvious point of comparison is Jecht, who’s at 30.5. Jecht has somewhat better bulk (around 15%), better passives for easier gearing, easier AoE mitigation application, and around the same damage (which he didn’t really get a bonus for at the time). Lilith’s damage isn’t element-locked, and has some HP healing options for the team. Overall for non-clash, we thought Jecht was the slightly better unit for this tank-primary damage-secondary role, but Lilith still deserved to share the 30.5 rating. There was a bit of talk for Jecht moving up to 31.0, but for now, we’re leaving things as-is, and making a note that tanks might need a slight reshuffle in the near future. Another non-damage rating bump may also be required annoyingly soon thanks to a couple of recent spikes.
Inside Clash, her tank side doesn’t really change, so with her damage baseline being higher than that, it makes sense for that to become the primary, and her tanking becomes a 0.5 bonus, bringing her morale rating to 31.5. Physical mitigation uptime being awkward with her LB/SLB and her gearing for both roles at once becoming a bit rough against races she doesn’t have innate killers for were the main things holding back from a larger bonus.

Full Moon Karten’s IA

The extra stats and modifier for his magnus from his new Intrinsic Ability materia bring his damage to 23.4t normally (29.5 rating) and 37.2t at max morale (30.5 rating). He’d normally get a bit of a bonus for fast/consecutive bursts, but this is canceled out by how bad his TDH gearing generally is (needing two sources of chain cap up when magisters items don’t stack isn’t pleasant without a specific premium card) so he sticks with the ratings above that his damage baselines give.

LotS Nichol & SoT Sakura Crowns EX abilities.

Previously, these two were scraping into the upper tier of the nonpremium 45% ampers at 30.0, but after two nice boosts from this round of upgrades, we feel they now sit comfortably alongside the premium fina’s at 30.5. Compared to them, Nichol & Sakura have their stat/lb buffs sitting 50% lower, and have AoE 45% amp with an ST amp of up to 100% compared to the AoE 75% the fina’s have with their fields included, which is overall a bit behind them - but Nichol & Sakura also have their own fields for enemy only 50% imperils, which combined with their black magic lets them imperil their respective elements by 185%, the highest in the game from a single unit slot right now. (Nichol is also part of the highest imperil combo right now when combined with Lulu for 210%). Overall, we felt this made them a clear step up from Lehftia who roughly matches their buffs but with no imperil capacity, and a fairly even match for the premium fina’s

This one got kinda rambly but whatever
