I just got back from holiday like a day ago but luckily this week isn’t too complicated. Hopefully Salien should also be back to catch up on the missing wiki page updates soon too.

Youth from Rabanastre Vaan

Vaan is the next 160% imperil JP breaker, and is thus pretty similar to Emperor. 85% atk/mag break, 87-88% SPR, and 89% def on the SLB, and a 160% fire imperil on both CD and SLB, a 2 stack AoE mirage as a bit of extra utility, and an AoE human killer buff instead of a weapon imperil because he wasn’t even sure what the weapon he’s holding actually is. He matches post-rerate Emperor at 28.5

Vayne

Vayne can do some pretty solid damage against fairies with a 360x SLB. unfortunately for him, he doesn’t get to fight a fairy here (and also misses out on his chronicle chestpiece for flat attack since Alim decided to make that limited) and his best damage option actually ends up being his skills with Battering Ram 2x Divine Sword, which comes in at a fairly low 9.7t, but between being available early on T2 and having a bit of utility in his stat buffs, atk/mag breaks and spammable ST 70% typed mits, it was enough for a small bonus to raise him up to 28.5

Rain -FF1 Form-

For a budget Alim unit, FF1 Rain actually ends up with a surprisingly good shift LB mod of 401x fire damage by using his base LB and then Magma Saber on the turns before, since both give a double-dipping 50x modboost. Average attack and almost no self-buffing ability give it an overall burst of 20.2t on turn 3, giving a score of 29.0 with nothing else to change it.

Folka and Support Reratings

Folka’s new damage options are…. Not relevant at all, but she still has some potential use as a healer/support with a focus on MP healing. She could probably sit alongside Lotus Fina or something for now, but rather than go into depth working that out, we’re going to just shove her into the big support rerate that can finally start this week now that I’m back, and will probably be going on for the next few weeks. Worth noting that alongside this support rerate there will also likely be one of those blanket rating bumps for all non-damage units because of how the roles age differently, which will most likely be either a 1.0 or 1.5 bump.
