Strap in, there’s a lot to deal with this week….. again.

Wylk

Massive damage, effortless gearing, two elements with 60% amp, strong weapon imperils for his STMR, this lad basically has everything he needs. Outside of clash, his best damage source is his Shift LB, boosted by his modboost magnus in base form once stacked for a 401x base mod (450x against dragons). This lands at 29.2t on turn 5, giving him a score of 30.0. In clash with max morale, He’ll instead use his recharging magnus chain which does 52.1t thanks to the 900% attack buff on his very high base attack, scoring 31.0 for his morale rating. Both of these technically include a small bonus for his breaking ability, but it’s very awkward to use between juggling LB gauges, magnus charges and action economy, so it doesn’t make much of a dent.

Paladin Sylvie

Now, to preface this, support ratings are still kinda messed up. We know, we’ll try and fix them eventually (and I’m considering a flat bump in the short term as a band-aid too).
Paladin Sylvie is clearly the queen of supports currently, providing both a very wide range of help and the strongest levels of some of these things. Previously the top pure supports are Ling at 28.0 and Bulwark at 27.5, so we decided that she deserved at least 1.0 above them at 29.0, but between being such a dramatic improvement and to not look quite so bad compared to other roles, we’re putting her at 29.5 - just try to keep in mind that this mostly just works in comparison to other pure supports, they all need a boost compared to the other roles.

Storm Seeker Esther

Now, Esther won’t be rated with the specific combo of having her wife Sylvie on the team, but she still got a new morale mod to use even without her, and a fresh rebuild also saw her gain a bunch of attack from things like the celestite signet and Kaito’s card on her normal damage.
She’s now sitting at 30.8t burst on turn 4 normally, and 45.2t at max morale. Her usual bonuses for doing this every second turn and her T2 burst being almost as strong now leave her at 30.5 normal, 31.0 morale.

Louise

2k flat magic from her Intrinsic Ability materia gave Louise a pretty substantial damage boost. 80x LB mod also helped the base form, but 240x max is still pretty low, so that’s hitting for around 10t now after a bunch of turns to stack. Her max morale chains are now up to 21.1t, and her solid array of breaks and fire support boost both of these to 28.0 normal and 30.0 morale respectively.

Mazurka

Mazurka pretty much got all her JP crowns, EX abilities and kit updates packed into her IA materia, with the tradeoff of requiring a slot balanced by an extra 20x mod and decoupling her modboost from her fire imbue. She now gets the same base mod as Kain and Ricard as an elementless jumper, but lower attack and her severe lack of self support with buffs/debuffs leaves her at a burst of 11.4t on turn 4 and a rating of 28.0

Solitary Patron Snow

Snow’s crowns themselves are mostly just supporting his LB damaging abilities, which while it might not be the worst, is whatever. Alongside it though, he also got a bunch of free kit revamps and EX abilities that grant him a ton of extra stats, as well as Warring spirit to allow him to use his 90% general mitigation ability, solving his old problems of his first two turns of bulk suffering a lot. Unfortunately, his physical bulk is actually still about the same (at least in the worst case) since these kit revamps also reverted his old GLEX buff to his physical cover mit range from 65-70% back to 50-75%, so he’s still somewhere between Mont and Guy on that front. On the magic side however he gained around 50% effective bulk and is now sitting near the top with Hyunckel and Chow. Overall, despite matching them in bulk, we decided that lacking the AoE mitigation / other support of the tanks that’re 29.0 meant he didn’t deserve to be alongside them, so he increased from 28.0 to 28.5.

There were a few other units that also shifted 0.5 due to us noticing some rounding errors and such, but they aren’t important. There’s enough damn text here already.
