Strap in, there’s a lot to deal with this week.
Yshe
Hey wait, I’ve seen this one before! Yshe is another Laguna/Tulien with an SLB that has 85/87% breaks, 145% imperil (Ice) and 35% weapon imperil (spear). Low mod and passives means low base damage as usual (6.1t) and a bonus for the breaks etc gives a final rating of 27.5. Unfortunately for her, an early Emperor last week already gave us a preview of the next breaker series that succeeds this one.
Kall
Kall is much like Baran with a fixed hybrid attack and a pure magic option in ice rather than lightning. His SLB comes in around 15t under our parameters while his quadcasted ice magic after the CD boosts from his STMR is 16.5t but has to wait til a later turn, so they both hit a rating of 28.5. The exact strength comparison for anyone actually using him will depend on killer gear/buffs vs external LB buffs and such.
Ilmatalle
Ilmatalle is difficult to rate under our current parameters with the main feature of her kit being three ST 250% killer buffs. Since she also has stat/lb buffs and weaker AoE versions of the killers on her LB along with an imbue 35% ice amp for the party as a spell, we figured the closest comparison was to the JP 45% ampers like Roca, Freesia, Leviathan Nichol etc, who’re at 26.5 currently. On average it was decided that the lower buffs/amps for the extra ST killer strength was a negative trade, so Ilmatalle is going at 26.0, half a point below them. She’s not always bad, just very niche. [Insert usual bit about offensive buffers as a whole still being too low]
Cid
Bad Ricard buffs his mods and such for two turns, then does a 200x wind jump to land on T5 for 12.1t, which ends up at 28.0. There’s really nothing else to say.
Firion
Firion got his chronicle upgrade for his STMR bow last week and I forgot. He still has all the same gearing and buffing issues with wiki but upgraded from around 6t to 9t with his increased stats, so he’s now at 27.5
Runda
Runda now has all his shards available as of the latest story chapter so can awaken to EX3 for everyone. This means he can maintain full uptime on the 85% general physical mitigation from T3 onwards with his SLB, which just crushes the competition when it comes to bulk. Like, this little round boy has over double the effective physical hp of the next bulkiest tank (fledgeling warrior) once it’s up. We decided this was worth bumping him up to 29.5
Magic Variance
All the mages have been getting a fresh build over the past week now that the builder is updated to account for magic variance and they’re looking much healthier compared to the physical side on the sheet now. I won't list all the individual rating updates here (I just finished doing so like 30 mins ago in the discord) but almost all mages gained 0.5-1 points. The few that gained nothing were mostly the evokers - since we updated our fixed damage divider from 3 to 4 now that killers are getting stronger (and so Baran didn’t look so extreme) so a lot of them lost as much as they gained since they also generally don’t have good TDH gearing. 1.0 gainers were mostly those that had an ideal 2H weapon available as their own STMR such as Fryevia, Olivera, Return Nichol/Sakura, etc.
Hopefully u/salienzero can get the wiki page updated with all these changes soon….
