Nice to see you all back again. Well its been a while since i posted anything on the reddit board for people to downvote me for. so let see if i can at least not have this occur this time. Now onto the rant you have been promised.

I have been playing FFBE off and on for 5 years now, mostly on. I have stuck with it in some of the biggest debacles they have commited and even forgave them a time or two because things happen. Last year, it was understandable that due to covid things were not going to be as big. It is hard to plan a big celebration months in advance when now everyone has trouble meeting to set things up. However it has been more than a year and everyone is pretty much used to work from home expectations. So a better crafted celebration should have occurred this time around.

Honestly the biggest thing they should know, after 5 whole years of doing this and what we want most of all is for someone to communicate to us on a regular basis. its not hard to keep up a weekly post on Reddit and facebook of here is what is going on and here are our reasons for making changes to what happened in JP. This game is not so much different from JP that you can get away with these two games are not the same. We know that this is corporate double talk and we are tired of the excuse when most weeks there is no difference between the two.

This week is so much worse though, we are supposed to be in the middle of celebrating this game, most Mobile games have died out by year 5, so achieving this level of success should be celebrated. You have created several characters that are now just as loved as Cloud, Tifa, Sephiroth, Terra, Locke....i could go on. Instead, all we have is continuation of an event from last week with nothing new added to it and IW. THAT"S IT! WTF man! were barely into our third week and we have nothing to keep us engaged. Worse, we get a new unit and no way to show us why we should be spending Lapis to get him. This is a basic thing you have trained us to expect, especially for a Unit who is from FFBE itself and not another one of the other franchise titles. GET IT TOGETHER!

Week after week we still keep showing up, and for week three of year 5, you are already showing us that there is not much more to expect from you. Your not even giving us real reasons to stay, then maybe you should say its been a good run, end the game here and put your resources into WOV. However if you really want this mobile game to last 10 years, it is time to change what it is your doing. You should know by now what it is we want, you even got a large portion of us to fill out a survey to help guide you. But another week like this, and i don't think this game will even make it to its 6th anniversary.

If you think I'm wrong, please discuss it with me down below, i'm sure i missed some points but i didn't want three pages of rant where the message got completely lost.

TLDR: Do better at communicating to us GUMI, its not a big ask. No more using the excuse that GL and JP are a different game. And don't have dead weeks in the middle of your celebration, it leaves a bad taste in everyone's mouth.
