Fan Sprite Imgur Album (Faerie NV & Vision Card added)

The last livestream Q&A got me thinking about what I would do if I was in charge of designing the Trials of Mana collab for global. The following is my thought process:

Mana Sprite NV Unit

The KH3 collab was annoying with three NV units. This will probably become even annoying with the 6 Trials of Mana protagonists. So I feel like it would be easier to just have one NV unit and make the rest rainbows or NVAs. However instead of playing favourites among the leads, I made a new unit.

The idea behind this Faerie NV unit came from her concept art, where she is surrounded by the 8 Mana Sprites. However instead of making an unholy visual mess, they're separated into 2 groups of 4 spirits. They alternate out when she brave shifts, while Faerie remains the same.

As for combat, she'd be a hybrid version of Randi. With at least one chain ability shared with each protagonist. For example her Lumina skill would chain with someone like Charlotte, while her Jinn skill would chain with Riesz. So she would work as a chain parter for any of the protagonists.

I'm thinking her Limit Burst would have her summon the Mana Goddess. While attack animations would have the Mana Sprites attack in their pairs. Her Brave Abilities would be related to her Faerie powers and be supportive in nature.

Protagonist NVAs

So while Faeries & the Mana Spirits are the NV, the protagonists would appear as NVAs based on their JP sprites. Gumi could run this collab twice. The first time making Riesz, Charlotte & Kevin NVAs by reusing their Fenrir Knight, Warlock & Divine Fist forms as their Brave Shift sprites (you simply reuse their win animations as Brave Shift animations and keep the rest). Then months later re-run it again by unlocking their Angela, Duran & Hawkeye's NVAs with newly commissioned Brave Shift forms. So one banner with one NV and Trials of Mana only rainbows, that eventually get NVAs.

Been thinking of spriting NVA forms for Angela, Duran & Hawkeye. Probably do Angela's glitter based Archmage and Duran's dark saber Duelist, since his regular sprite has the shield. Not sure about Hawkeye but maybe Rogue or Nomad, so we get a 50/50 dark/light split among the protagonists' job changes.

Trials of Mana Vision Card

I designed this vision card as something that applies to all the Trials of Mana units. The Mana Sanctuary with the Mana Sword made the most sense. I also took inspiration from the game's box art by placing the protagonists on the edge of the vision card in the same order. It isn't 100% finished, the Mana Tree needs more detail & the protagonists need to be animated.

Future Sprites

I have an Aldore Emperor (Levnato & Quadis) themed post ready to go. Delayed it a bit because it wasn't that relevant to the holidays. Plus I'm halfway through some DV Esper units.

Doing this Trials of Mana post gave me some ideas for some more collab units:

• Secret of Mana: a Randi NVA, Flammie NVA with Thanatos NV & "Final Battle at the Mana Fortress" Vision Card.
• Romancing Saga Re:Universe: a Liz/Polka unit with NVAs of Red/Alkaiser & Wedding/Combat Emelia from Saga Frontier.
• Xenogears: a NVA form for Fei where he turns into Id plus maybe a Child/Adult Emerald NV with a vision card about Fei & Elly's past lives?

Anyways, looking for feedback or even ideas of what to do next.
