Never saw this anywhere, just thought people might want to know. If you kill your party after you murder the raid boss (to avoid getting rank EXP), you won't get any bonus coin drops from unit bonuses. You'll still get the overkill damage bonus counted into the base amount, just the second drop won't happen. Keep that in mind if you happen to screw up like I did and come close to a rankup with leftover raid orbs, since the bonus drop count can be double the base amount or more that can be a rather hefty loss. Well, now I will be more careful in the future, but hopefully others don't make the same mistake as me. Looks like I'll lose out on around 15k raid coins due to it.
