Like myself, Revitalised Role Rankings have been dead (er, sleeping) for a few months, so I figured it was a good time as any to condense it down into chainers and rejig it. Furcula's spreadsheet is good for tracking raw damage output, and Unit Rankings exists, but I feel there is still value in ranking units by overall efficacy. Rationale is outlined on the page itself, but to give a few simplified yet concrete examples:

• Despite having lower damage than Aurora Fryevia and Rab, Elena is ranked as #1 hybrid chainer due to her immense bulk (especially over Rab) and elemental variety over Aurora Fryevia.

• Compared to Kimono Fina, Operative Zyrus deals about as much damage while being bulkier, having better killer access, three discrete elements vs. Fina's two (that require both to be used for maximum damage), all while having similar once off burst potential via his magnus skill.

• Physalis has excellent damage and burst potential, but lacks bulk and has a hard time accessing elements other than ice.

This page is still in its infancy, so there may be some choices that need further consideration; the most contentious currently is #5 phys DW, but I'm not too concerned about that since whoever would be occupying that position will be pushed back when CG Noctis is released later today. Please let me know your thoughts regarding the whole thing.
