Hi all, I just did some quick maths to compare the odds between new GL step up format and JP summon festival. Just want to share. :)

Rates and Assumptions

Global on banner rate is 1.5% for 3* summon and assumed to be 5.25% for 4* summon and 1.25% for guaranteed rainbow for 3rd step.

JP on banner rate is 2.5% for 3* summon, 5.25% for 4* summon and 1.25% for guaranteed rainbow for 3rd step.

JP Step Up ( thanks u/hiiamtom49 for the info)

• Step 1: 5,000 Lapis, 10 1 - 10% Trust Moogle
• Step 2: 5,000 Lapis, 10 1 - 10% 5★ Ticket
• Step 3: 5,000 Lapis, 10 1 - Guaranteed Random 5★
• Step 4: 5,000 Lapis, 10 1 - 10x LvMAX King Metal Minituar
• Step 5: 5,000 Lapis, 10 1 - Guaranteed 5★ CG Aldore King Rain

GL Step up

TLDR;

GL step up rate, not counting the use of UoC, is almost the same as Summon Fest rate.
