So, I recently completed Empress Supreme LGD with 25 units across 5 teams. If you're like me who enjoys self-made challenges, these vengeful trials are a good way to use different units and experiment due to low energy costs. I hope this simple guide can help those who have yet to clear this trial.

Here are some equipments and materias that can be useful.

• moogle plushie - Iris TMR to combo with Golem provoke
• safety bit/genji shield - death resist
• toxic rain - inflict ailments
• bushido freedom - AOE dispel
• calamity border - elemental resistance buff

About the Units:

• Provoke tank - with the new Dodge Roll materia, it's easier to have 100% evade and death resist on provoke tanks. I used units that can do other things beside provoking. This is where moogle plushie and Golem come in.
• Magic cover - at least 100% resistance to ice, wind, light and dark but go higher if possible. Get magic eHP as high as possible as well. Some magic tanks have 1-turn 90% magic mitigation. Use this on the turn the Captain and/or Knight can be killed. Of course, make sure to have magic cover before killing the adds.
• Source of general mitigation - 30% will do but 40% or 50% will help a lot on thresholds if you cross multiple of them and when the Knight is killed.
• Source of elemental resist buff - mainly to ice, wind, light and dark. To help reduce magic damage when imperiled by 200% to those elements. I used calamity border in one of my clears.
• Source of AOE dispel - bushido freedom will be your best friend here. Not everyone has Kryla and not all healers/supports have dispelga or Lenna's STMR. It is also useful when the Captain is enraged as he will have undispellable mirage that blocks 3 physical attacks. So using bushido freedom on a DW unit will dispel Captain's rage buffs and take 2 physical attacks off his mirage. Doesn't matter if you use magic damage though.
• Source of stop resistance/removal - Morgana will have a random chance to use AOE stop if any of the adds is dead. Lakshmi has stop resistance.
• Units that can inflict ailments - I had some units that have skills that can inflict ailments but anyone can use toxic rain. It depends on who you want to put it on. This will disable the knight. If you're only using physical damage, no need for this since Knight can be killed easily by physical damage.
• Breaker - Anyone can be fully broken except for Morgana. The first few turns doesn't really need breaks. Use breaks when going for the kill on any adds. ATK/MAG breaks on the Captain will help if he BabyRage when Knight dies.
• Dark resistance - preferably at least 100% too all units except for evade provoke tanks. So that you won't take damage on turn 2 if you can't kill any of the adds in that turn and you don't have AOE mirage.

Note: My clears are a bit slow because I played very safe. I want all my teams to OBAMA the trial even after getting all the mission rewards. Why? Well, it's for my own challenge and fun.
