So... hello, guys!

I hadn't realized until yesterday that enhanced Citra can provide on demand 35% mag mitigation with Sorcery Dampener 2 (which is huge). It got me thinking if my team could survive all of moon's AoE attacks with that ability, MS Nichol's (and Folka's) general mitigation, and Pod's physical mitigation. So I leveled, awakened almost all abilities, and potted my dear Citra (didn't door her). Turns out they can survive all of moon's bull****tery!

For those who don't have mages with high burst who can kill the moon from ~41% to 0% (like Christine or Kimono Fina), the idea is to plan the turns in which to cross the 40% and 20% thresholds. I had a look at the wiki ("Attack Pattern 40% until 0%" table) and noticed some turns are particularly nasty under 40% HP, like turn 11, in which after all 5x Comet Moon the moon dispels the provoker with Lunar Revolt and keeps attacking like there's no tomorrow (turn 17 under 25% HP is also nasty for instance). That's why I chose turn 13 to cross the 1st threshold, and ended the fight at turn 17.

I suggest not using Summer Folka & Citra's CD the moment it is available, but delay it for one turn, because the moon summons 2 apostles the exact turn their CD becomes available for the 1st time. Use their LB at turn 6 (very important because of the imperil!), and the CD at turn 7. Repeat it for turns 12 and 13.

• Has 2 limited time TMRs equipped: Pod 153 and Ankh of Goddess
• Alternates Sorcery Dampener 2 and A060: P Shield
• Equipped with Genji Armor (50% chance to avoid death)
• Casts Blessing of the Lifegiver on thresholds

Some ways around Ankh of Goddess:

• You don't need it at all if friend unit has death immunity
• Get lucky with Genji Armor (in my video, Citra survived both times)
• Use one damage dealer to revive the other with a Phoenix Down (this will make things more difficult)

MS Nichol

• High HP and SPR, good DEF
• Death immunity (Shield Gauntlet Genji Shield)
• Alternates his CDs to provide 50% / 40% general mitigation
• Provides HP regen, DEF/SPR buffs, light resistance

Folka (best healer, sorry)

• High HP and SPR, good DEF
• Death immunity (Safety Bit)
• Godly CDs that heal and provide back-up 40% general mitigation, 30% phys/mag mit
• Godly HP barriers
• HP and MP regen
• Water imperil
• Dualcasts reraise on both Summer Cilkas on thresholds (or on Citra if friend has death immunity)

Summer Folka & Citra

• Incredibly high SPR
• High HP to compensate medium DEF

Btw a pair of Cilkas loaded with EVO mag STMRs (Yuna's, Eiko's, Rydia's, and Citra's) can kill the moon quicker, but I (and friend) only have Rydia's.
