It seems that Gumi is aggressively ramping up ads for FFBE (which I've never seen before); yet I find their ads so confusing and unengaging for newbies.
Immediately before posting this, I saw an ad for Regina banner. It started with the line "Step-up 24K banner" at the top (wtf does 24K even mean to a newbie?), followed by detailing step 5 - 8 summons 2 yellow crystal 1 guaranteed Regina 5*. And the last 10 seconds of the ads only have Regina standing there inside the rainbow crystal, without any other enticing effects to draw people in to install.
Prior to Regina was the Summer Ladies where they milked their LB animation dry; and before that was Edgar and Figaro banner which couldn't look any more boring than how they presented it.
I could easily name 4-5 other games that invested so much more effort into making their 15-second ads memorable, but FFBE seems to be a hard pass from ads standpoint.
