Are you tired of constantly running item world to end up with sub par gear enhancements, or worse enhancements of the wrong type. Well I'm here to suggest three QOL changes that could be made to Item World that would make everyone happier.
1st up: Remove duplication
We all have had runs where we see the same ability boost in 2 or 3 slots and have nothing to select. This just frustrates everyone because it is often a real low ability boost and a waste of time. So my suggestion is to limit it to appearing only once per full run. This has a slight problem for the rare few times that 2 useful abilities show up at the same time, but its rare so it shouldn't bother us as much as the current model does.
2nd: set 1 of the 3 slots with an improved rate towards a stat.
We all have been there when building a rod and all the best stats we pulled were for attack and not magic, or something similar. If we had the ability to atleast select to some degree what were trying to build onto the weapon. We would be more happy to run through item world more often, because we would feel that were atleast getting the ability boost we wanted.
3rd: open up Item World to Defensive gear.
Its called Item World for a reason, not weapon world. So at least give us the option to run shields as well. If not everything but accessories. This way we can have higher defense or other stats. Give shields a chance to improve resistance to select elements or ailments instead of offensive buffs.
These suggestions would make Item World so much better. And players would have so much more to work on for content that they would be busy during the week Item World is on.
Tl/DR: remove duplicate abilities from showing up every run, be able to select what you would like to show up more often in a slot during a run, and include defensive gear in Item World.
