Apparently last KM event I never used the Guaranteed 5★ Special Summon Ticket but also noticed that the banner was exactly the same, and that the tickets aren't specifically tied to events, so I thought i'd just be able to use it.
Nope, guess not. Looks like they're all tied to the banner attached to the event you get the ticket from.
They're not messing around when they say it can only be used during the same period as the medal exchange event from which they are obtained.
So in case anyone never bothered to read that news post or thought they could stockpile them for a future banner in the hopes of getting an off banner pull, you cannot save them at all. Must be used during the currency exchange period or it becomes useless.
