As a disclaimer, I'm a huge Balthier fan. He has a spot in my all time favourite characters not only from Final Fantasy, and I'm really glad he's now meta (after never having been at all!).

After I enhanced Balthier, I decided to take a look at how much damage he could do all alone, since his modifiers are bonkers. So I brought him to Odin, with a lot of defensive supports that didnt improve his damage at all (he has his own 120% imperils anyway). Edit: Actually I used Berserk Crest from Zargabaath on Balthier, just to showcase it does work with Balthier's skill. It is quite handy as its a 150% buff on top of other ones. Don't record a video and go post it on reddit like 2 hours later lol

Its just the kill turn, cuz all I did on the three turns before was use his 120% imperil (yeah, it takes a good chunk alone of Odin's health cuz he's using DW lol). Just to add, this is not a carry post/guide, just a showcase to an unit's insane damage.

Edit: Just wanted to point something out I've not seen in the sub yet. Balthier's damage with Berserk Crest is a whole 41,5% higher than with only a 150% stat buff. This is also a huuuuuge boon of Balthier, mainly vs Cid (who cant abuse Berserk due to jump's re-activation) (numbers out of FFBE Equip, if its missing something blame Lyrgard, not me! /s).
