Kupipi creates a ~9 hit chain with a dupe Kupipi using auto attack. RAIN used dual elements to double the per-hit chain bonus multiplier from 0.3 to 0.6, allowing him to maximize the chain bonus at 3.0 by the 5th chained hit.
According to the units.json file, Kupipi's auto attack frames are:
[27, 37, 47, 57, 70, 106]
Which gives RAIN an approximately 60 frame window to finish. This definitely requires some good timing and practice.
It's a pretty clever way to build chains without MP but it's not a very practical.
