Like most people, I wasn't too sold with Just Cause 3, but when u/Cysidus posted the maintenance quick peek last week, we found this for Rico's chaining moves:

Triple Spray 7 Hits, Idle, 20-7-5-7-7-7-7

Attacks 3 times, can be DWed for 6 times

Chaos Object Homing 10 Hits, Walk, 2-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8

First move was pretty cool, it has HE frames but with a different startup time. As of right now, we dont have units that can triplecast HE frame attacks so perfect chaining might be impossible without a duplicate. The delay might also not help matters.

The next move and possibly his signature move is a 10hit (8FR) move with a 2 frame starting cast.

Units that come into mind personally are:

Kunshira - She has the same frame data for her spellblade moves. However she stays still when casting which immediately tells me she wont be able to chain with Rico since he moves while castiing.

Loren - Blade Prison is also another 10Hit (8FR) move with a different startup time. (I was pleasantly surpised to find out she actually chains decently (not perfect) with kunshira). Same deal here, Loren stands still while casting this so Rico is probably not going to chain either.

Then it hit me. There was one other unit that is commonly overlooked because she lacked chaining partners.

2B - Her Extract Speed is a 10hit (8FR) dash move. (2,7,7,7,8,8,8,8,8,8) The frames although not perfect show that they might be able to chain together.

I'm crossing my fingers if things go well, we might have a chaining partner for 2B. Then again these might all change tomorrow, if and when Gumi decides to ninja change the frame data, and I just got excited for nothing.

Just thought I'll share my thoughts with you guys, I might end up being wrong with alot of this seeing how Kain turned out.
