She is just a basic loli version of Rydia. Piour Sumonir Ridya.
Class: Pure Loli -> She steals the hearts of *that* kind of players, BEWARE.

Overview

Kydia is a decent chainer with decent finisher skills. She is a summoner in the end, she is actually the first top tier Black Summoner as in the contrary of the more healer-like support-like White Summoners. She does great as a partner to chain with but falls short because of the reason that she doesn’t have any -ja spells (unlike other magic chainers).

Build:

pure MAG and Summon damage

Notable Abilities:

• LB: 20LS 20x EVO 40-hit non-ele. This is actually a pretty good move and paints her as more of a chainer.

• Quake and Tornado: 8-hit and 12-hit magic with earth and wind damage respectively. These moves allow her to chain with other Nado units and other Quake units.

• Dual Black Magic: Dual casts the past spells and more. Only does that to Black Magic.

• Curaga and Raise: Allow her to have an off-heal role if things ever go South.

• Eidolon Chocobo Kick: 5-hit skill with 5x EVO damage using 1ES. This isn’t that good, it is almost unusable.

• Eidolon Cockatrice Peck: 10x EVO earth damage for 3ES with petrify chance ST. It is a bit weak and almost unusable in normal cases.

• Eidolon Mindflayer's Chant: 16x EVO water damage for 5 ES with paralyze chance ST. This is the best ability she has for constant use but its high ES price makes it hard to use it constantly, it deals some decent damage as a finisher.

• Tradition: increases 3ES and buffs all stats to caster by 80% and unlocks the next move on the list. This is gonna be used for the unlock sometimes and the ES and nothing more. 3ES is decent

• Eidolon Bomb Explosion: 21x EVO fire damage ST for 5ES. It deals a very nice amount of damage but takes 2 actions to use.

• Passives: She has an innate 60% EVO MAG, 30% Esper Stats, 80% MAG with a rod, 20% SPR and 30% MP. She also has an immunity for petrify which is nice and an innate auto-refresh. As any other top tier summoner, she can summon any teammate’s esper.

Pros:

• Has a decently high EVO MAG of 60%

• Can chain with both; Quake users and Nado users

• Innate Auto-Refresh

• Nice MAG increase of 80% when equipped with rods

• High base MAG and decent SPR

• Great LB with low LS cost

• Petrify immune

Cons:

• Only has 1 way of increasing ES and it only gives 3 ES

• The finisher abilities are slightly lackluster

• No Aeroja nor Stonja to cap the chains

TL;DR:

She is very decent, there are other units that do her main jobs better than her, but she still can chain with 2 magic spell families (while losing out on their capping abilities) and decently do the Summoner job. She covers healing slightly but is highly outclassed in it when compared to the White Summoners.
