I know there's a common consensus that leveling FP units and selling them is a good way to make quick gil, but it seems that not all FP units are created equal. While all 1-2 star base units sell for the same amount when maxed (4400 for 1 star and 15000 for 2 star) not all 2-3 star base units sell for the same. There are three "elite" units that sell for more than the rest, despite requiring the same amount of EXP to max out. These are Paula, Skaha, and Ronaldo.

Most 2-3 star units sell for 15000 at 2 star and 32000 at 3 star. However, Paula, Skaha, and Ronaldo sell for 24000 at 2 star and 60000 at 3 star! This makes them 60-88% more efficient when selling.

Now here's a table of EXP required to max, GIL obtained when selling at max, and NRG cost to safely max the unit in the Chamber of EXP. Note 2 and 3 star elite refers to Paula, Skaha, and Ronaldo:

As you can see, the most efficient FP units to level and sell are the 3 star elite max, followed by the 2 star max units, and then the 2 star base elite units. Please refer to the friend summon unit list to determine which units are 2 star max.

Just for reference, farming the Chamber of Riches PRO only nets you about 500 gil/NRG. Meanwhile farming the last level in the Gil Snapper's Cave nets you 5000 gil/NRG. Clearly this is better, but it only comes around once a month and only lasts 3 days.

Lastly, if you are using metal cactuars to level your units, the most efficient use of gigantuars is on 2 star max units as they only require 1 gigantuar to max, and the most efficient use of king metal cactaurs is on 3 star max elite units as they require 1 to max out.
