Waiting for next banner...

After collecting tickets for the month of December, i have decided to hold off spending them on the current banners until i see the next banner. Why, because i was looking forward to getting a chance at last years Christmas units, which despite receiving an upgrade, are mysteriously missing from the current banner. Do you guys agree that its better to wait and see if the next banner holds them, or am i just being to hopeful and likely to miss out on the current banners.
