This is a quick comparison in the EXP vs. NRG gain between our newest event and the ever popular Cactuar Dunes.

TL;DR: Event is better if you have 75% or 100% bonus unit friends and use a 100% bonus unit at least 1 out of every 5 runs. Of course this is only if you need 100 gigantaurs MAX or 100 gigantaurs whatever else you can farm from Cactuar Dunes in what's left of your weekend.

The Math

Cactuar Dunes has an average of 280,000 EXP per 30 NRG giving it a value of 9333.3 EXP/NRG.

Tower of Zot ELT has an average of 431 Magma Rock Fragments per 25 NRG, which translates to 4.31 Metal Gigantaurs and 129,300 EXP. This gives it a value of 5172 EXP/NRG.

In order to get the same EXP/NRG ratio as Cactuar Dunes, you'd need on average an 80% bonus.

Let's say your options are 75% or 100% bonus units as friends. This means that for every 5 runs, only 1 of them needs to have a 100% bonus unit to match the EXP/NRG ratio of Cactuar Dunes.
