Misty Bamboo Forest isn't half bad

Post Body

I figured I'd break up a lot of the hate posts on here. I personally like the new event. Aside from the bugs that are obviously plaguing it, it's a lot more engaging. We've had Mog King, raids, and so on for almost half a year without any unique type of event. This requires 10x the mental focus of running around, gathering materials, and cursing your luck as you go through 20 doors hoping for the fish or bamboo as the timer crunches down to 5 seconds left before finally getting lucky. There's just a lot more excitement, both good and bad, than going and pressing the same swipe combination to one shot the boss over and over again.

I think it's obvious from some players reactions that they really don't enjoy running events and purely do it for the rewards. To each their own, but I do think they need to sit down and ask themselves "Are you enjoying the game, or are you just addicted to progress/gambling?"

Lastly, the argument I will agree with that actually has to do with the event structure, is that they needed to build out the rewards a bit more. The rates are just fine, the same as running mogking with 300% in bonus units, but they needed to add 10x tickets and a 1x 4* ticket to the list of rewards minimum. As is, even the players who enjoy running the event will have all of the relevant rewards by tomorrow or the day after. Then the only thing left will be megacrysts, of which are one of my favorite parts of this event, but that's not enough to justify the time commitment.
