ANOTHER EXPEDITIONS SURVEY

Since I was finally able to finish Adventurer V today (and this is not a brag post *cough cough*), I want to switch my focus over to concerns from people taking the last survey that bonus items may have been skewing results.

So I'm going to commit for the next little while to doing Expeditions without bonus items, and recording the results.

Why no bonus items?

There have been multiple anecdotes that many more ~80% expeditions are failing than should be if you don't use a bonus item. Even though our last survey showed overwhelmingly that actual rates correspond to advertised rates, we were not tracking bonus item usage and I imagine the vast majority of people are using them.

What do I need to do to contribute?

Just take the survey, but please commit to taking it for an entire chunk of time, e.g. a day or a week, and report all of your findings without any bias.

No bonus items? Seriously, you expect me to do that?!

I’m not asking that anyone do anything they don’t want to! But if you’re in a place where you’ve got the freedom to do so or if you’re one of the people who already don’t field bonus items, please consider contributing!

What if some of my expeditions use bonus items and some don’t?

That’s fine! Just be consistent in recording the ones that don’t use the bonus items.
