Back again with another Main Character Challenge! Basically, this is where I tackle bosses with only main characters that are a part of your party in story mode. This is purely for entertainment purposes and not a guide by any means.

Eligible units include: Rain, Lasswell, Fina, Lid, Nichol, Jake, Sakura and Dark Fina. For those of you without Dark Fina, you're welcome to use a Dark Fina friend for a party of six. Keep in mind that actually owning Dark Fina will not grant you any advantages in this challenge since you most likely won't find any friends using story unit leaders. If you need a Dark Fina friend, send me a PM w/ the build of your choice and I will try my best to accommodate you.

I usually try not to use Dark Fina unless it's absolutely necessary to keep my sanity. But I firmly believe she's an important part of the story and should be considered as a main character.

I went in with a team of Rain, Lasswell, Nichol, Sakura, and Fina. Rain acted as the tank, buffer, and breaker for my team. Nichol was the bar-spammer, Fina was the healer, Sakura was my main DPS and Lasswell didn't do shit.

A couple of key things:

• HP/SPR is not as important as Dark/Fire/Ice/Thunder resistance. Gear your units with as much resistance as possible. Nichol didn't die once with only 2.9K HP because he had a shitload of elemental resistance when the party was fully buffed.

• Rain followed a strict rotation of Provoke, Leadership, Full Break.

• All Nichol did was Dual cast BarFira and Barblizzara every 3 turns and defended/used pots when needed. Lasswell was useless relegated to pot duty, I threw a pod on him for passive healing. Fina Dual caster Curaja pretty much every turn.

• Sakura was MVP and had Comet equipped on her. You want to charge up Thundaja to max stacks and use Comet as your main damage skill unless Heins casts thunder debuff on himself. Basically, this way Comet carries over the modifier from a fully stacked Thundaja. You also want to make sure Thunder's Protection is up at all times for that sweet Dark/Thunder resist.

• Bring MP recovery pots, Sakura has 0 MP regen if you're equipping with MAG

• Status protection especially against confusion and sleep

Overall a tricky fight, using Comet is the only stable of doing damage unless you get very lucky and get the thunder debuff throughout the fight.

Warning: Extremely TMR heavy.
