Some random hints for the advanced noob
Post Body
Hello redditors,
I started playing during the anniversary and hit lv70 now, I've enjoyed a major part of the game due to this subreddit. I still consider myself a noob and would like to share some helpful things that I've never read on any wiki page or guide.
- You can do a lot of things using tap and hold. You can swap your squad positions quickly, same goes for esper positions. you can also view the unit equipment page in most of the screens.
- If you accidently start a colosseum fight with your TMR party, force quit the game and start again, you should have the arena orb back, although i noticed that the first time you go on a normal mission, it might randomly pick your tmr squad again so do a earth shrine run before you face agaion ;)
Edit: or you set a certain fixed colosseum group in the options to avoid that in the first place, thx for the intel, fellas - Theres a funny section Guides in the menu, you can view the monsters you have battled and their Libra (in case you did any), lots of stuff to read and you can view pictures of the Espers you collected in both 1 star and 2 star rarity (i dont know why you want that, but maybe you can make cool wallpapers?)
- The Message board features the server time (PDT is my #1 search term every thursday)
- When you do the chamber of gems, Locke seems to increase tier 1 and 2 crysts, Xon tier 3 crysts. Bring them along!!!
- You can rename yourself
(but i think only once!)once every 2 weeks! in the Menu-section Player info
I hope this helps at least someone,
Cheers
