Wait just one minute... an enemy Marie in the Arena will "Punish" with multiple imperils, but your own won't?

So, since her release, Marie has only ever countered with one group of elements per turn. Even if she counters 5 times in the same turn, if she uses a Lightning/Earth imperil once, she will use a Lightning/Earth imperil for all of 5 of her counters. The same goes for her bar-ga counters - one set of elements per turn.

However, apparently that rule doesn't apply to Arena AI. The enemy Marie has no problems randomizing her counter after every use.

So my question at this point is: Which is it? Is she actually supposed to have a counter that randomizes after each use, or is it only supposed to give one group per turn? How does it work in JP?

I just kind of accepted the way that Marie was working, but after getting -50% imperiled for every element and seeing her provide bar-ga coverage for 4 elements, I definitely feel like I'm missing out on something now...

EDIT: So far, I haven't been able to find another Marie in the Arena to test on, but I have to go to bed for now. I'm going to keep looking for one when I wake up, but in the meantime, I'm setting Marie as my Arena leader. If anyone wants to help, I ask that you also set Marie as your leader to make it easier for someone to find a Marie so that we can hopefully get some video proof of AI Maries being filthy cheaters. Thank you to everyone who has already offered up their assistance.
