Hey guys! Back here today with another video/post. Just wanted to finally show off some good fryevia chaining that wasn't some heavily edited clip with multiple failed attempts cut out or some crappy imgur video of someone managing to chain her once. No macro was used for this video, just 2 thumbs. A few things I do want to point out:

  1. What you don't see behind the scenes is a lot of taps that aren't registering. My method for doing this is starting off by tapping simultaneously then slowly spacing out my taps to the smallest time apart they can possibly be until the game will recognize my taps and actually have the fryevia attack. What this means is that using this method she is virtually untimeable for a finisher as I have no way of knowing how many unregistered taps will go by before I find the right timing and her attacks are activated

  2. This level of consistency is not normal for Me, this was just the best clip I've gotten over a month or so of having her a doing some practicing. This is not my every day experience with her, just a nice streak I managed to get a few days ago. Just keep in mind this is a highlight clip nothing more.

-The comparisons to the Old Man started the day she was announced and hasn't really stopped since. So as a person who has both units who do I prefer as a chainer?

Well for starters the Old Man is just easy to chain and I can do it almost every single time unless I fat finger it so it's very dependable. Whereas Fry can be very hit or miss. Also as I mentioned in the previous point, my method for being able to spark chain manually is incompatible for timing with finishers so bonus points to to the Old Man for team synergy as well. Being locked into 1 element with fryevia is also something I'm not a huge fan of.

Overall I would pick orlandeau as the better unit in general, however in certain situations you may want to use fryevia instead. Like in the case of holy resist (like with the Bahamut trial) or in the case of super high DEF but low SPR. Or if you need to cheese thresholds with fryevia ignore fatal damage move (incredibly useful for 2 shotting the Bahamut trial). But in general I do prefer the Old Man for all the reasons listed above with fryevia being a strong second choice.

Anyways guys I'm really happy to be able to bring you this video of chaining fryevia to 27 several times in a row! Hope you liked it! P.S. sorry if the formatting is terrible, I'm typing this on mobile so it likes to fuck up all my paragraphs and spacing
