3min NRG?
Post Body

I used to play Brave Frontier, a minnow back then, especially in the Zelnite era. I was there when Maxwell trial was released and boy, was it so much harder then than when Maxie arrived in BE. It was a 5 min NRG world, until this happened:

Several months after implementing 3min/NRG in JP, Gumi applied this in GL as well. Since then, whew, were the grinds ever so grindier. Hey it was fun to be able to play 40% more, but the mobile game that consumed hours playing the same old stuff day in and day out took its toll on me, and I eventually quit, around the time 7* units became a thing. Quests, raids, trials, frontier hunter, I would spend the entire day rotating around each one, and start all over again.

Now granted, Exvius is not a carbon copy of BF. The equip system, skills and magic, and Trust system is what drew me in, making it not a BF clone. But as Exvius rolls on, might Gumi ever think of doing the 3min NRG as well? And if so, how would this affect the future of the game?

I could imagine TM macroing wouls be insane, TMs left and right for those who refill with blazing fast macros. Power creep would become steeper, widening the gap between F2P and P2P. More game types would come in likely as well. Would that be a better thing for the game, I certainly do not know.

I know there are a lot of BF ex- or maybe even current players here, maybe we can here their thoughts on this too.
