An honest assessment/review of the recent Twitch FFBE livestream
Post Body

Hello all! I'm a daily ffbe player since launch. Also, I've watched twitch for a good 3 or so years and seen a lot. I'd like to give a review of the stream from twitch as well as some comments.

First, stream was supposed to start at 4 eastern and was late a good 10ish minutes. I don't mind a few, but streams should always be up five to ten minutes prior to start time.

The three melded well and were fun to listen to, joking around, etc. but they lacked a lot of in game knowledge.

For example, not knowing ifrit isn't weak to water/ice lol :)

The giveaways were a cool idea, congrats to the three who won.

I think the biggest issue I had was the fact that they literally never read chat, answered any questions, or took any (despite at one point the host asking for them!). They had 500-600 viewers which is a pretty high amount and chat was pretty active. They didn't take advantage of people showing up, conversations with them, etc.

It's a huge misstep to have 3 ppl who develop the game, market, etc, do a livestream and do nothing with the chat.

I hope in the future (they discussed a stream for fft event) they interact with us more, give us a Q and A, or just appreciate the fact that there's a huge fan base who want to talk to them.

Shoutout to nazta, epinkwhale, and a few other regulars I saw in there. And shoutout to the host for accepting my add.

Overall it was a fun stream, but too much focus on basic knowledge stuff and they lacked a lot of deeper in game knowledge.

Just my 2 cents. Thanks for reading.
