We're all hype about the gacha changes. It is arguably one of the most important quality changes that we have anticipated in FFBE Global.

We started doing the Surveys, Cysidus and I so we could keep track of our own rates, and for good reason. I think the most telling time the gacha came through for the community was during the FF9 banner, when we had that fiasco over Zidane and the rest of the banner units.

Fast forward to gacha change #1, the equalization of 3-4* and 3-5* unit rates. That was great, and a good sign that we were slowly approaching the same system as JP. I was really impressed and proud of you guys for participating in that enough to easily conclude what was happening to our gacha.

When we get this change, we'll be the exact same as JP. So I'm going to try and find a way to make a self automated google doc that people can register for via the subreddit that makes it's calculations on it's own. For the past few months I've been working on a nearly fully automated excel doc, so it should be possible to do in google forms.

The only things that would need to be done by hand is clearing the summon data every friday, and adding unit names to the results tab.

Sure, I won't be around to take out the troll submissions anymore, but I don't think it matters now that we will have so much JP data we can actually reference. In fact maybe we don't need a survey at all.

I feel that, though I appreciate the effort people bring to the sub, that when things aren't necessary (like perhaps event currency math) the effort can be used elsewhere. You guys won't need me in a month or two.

You can still participate in a survey that runs itself (hopefully if I can design a sheet or get help) if you want to. I just think pretty soon Cysidus' purpose, and now my purpose will be fufilled and our job will be done, and when the job is done you go home.
