Makes Bows Great Again
Post Body

Edit/cannot edit: MAKE Bows Great Again (sorry for the typo)

With CArtemios and CLuna upping the discussion on bows, I came to realizeband ask why bows are not feasible for min maxing.

Particularly in FFT, I recall archers, despite not the top in damage (in fairness, archers are only 2nd step jobs after squire, along with knight). Since there is no concept of positioning or range, bows are merely based on flavor.

My ideas on how to make bows great again:

Bow Mastery - pretty straight forward

Allow Dual hand to work. You using two hands already!

Make a subgroup: crossbows. 1 handed, allows light shields to be equipped (similar to FFT)

Make "range" a thing. Extra damage when archer is at the back row. Stuff like that.

Expand bows with arrows. May be consumable. Imbues elemental damage, or for bonus flavor: killer effect (for instance, Silver arrows vs undead).

Give bonus accuracy to archers (probably to gunwielders too), as a potential application to evade builds.

Would enjoy hearing your ideas too, and, to a lesser extent, nay-sayers. :)
