So, I was just playing around, seeing what the stat change would be. With Defender's Bracer (DEF & SPR 10%), my Cecil's Defense was 516 and Spirit 225. I switch over to Water God's Amulet and Defense is 514 with 226 Spirit. But you also get 20% Water resist. Seems like 2 DEF is an acceptable cost for 20% resist. Along with Force Armor and Shield I get 20% resist to fire, ice, thunder and water. With Golem, I'm pretty screwed against wind attacks, but whatever. So, does that make Water God's Amulet one of the better defense accessories? Outside of TMRs, is there any better tanking accessory? (My other slot is Black Belt, though Muscle Belt with 10% HP is nice, but I'm already at 6.9k HP)
