Two big things coming out Thursday that may be the edge you need to complete the Maxwell trial and missions:

1: Thorned Mace: 78 atk w Maneater, your CoDs will love this, your companion CoDs will love this. Should supply a significant damage boost.

2: Carbuncle: 50% Light Resist. Keep hearing about how good Cecil is because of the light resist? Now your squishiest unit has it too!

There's also some other minor upgrades available but these two should be game changers for people just shy of being able to complete the missions.
