I see alot of post about the 2nd trust moogle isn't worth the effort to get due to you can farm more than 10% worth of tmr's with the energy you will spend to get it.
just some quick math for the sake of this discussion.
10% of TM is equal to 200 NRG 2% per character x 5 characters. Granted this isn't concentrated TM which would be equal to 1000 nrg but you would also get an additional 40% between other TM's.
in time that is equal to 1 day for 2% between 5 characters or 4 days for 1.
Based on the current drop rate of candy it would take a little less than 4 days worth of energy to obtain the 2nd moogle which would be equal to 50% of tm between 5 characters... At first glance that obviously not worth it.
But not everyone runs macro's so for them 4 days of farming adv Pumpkin rider at this time would be in their favor if they are wanting to get a TM quicker.
I'm going to assume anyone running macro's is planning on playing this game long term. in which case the trust moogle is a smart buy. The moogle maybe worst tm% to energy cost now but going into the future if alim/gumi keeps up the pace of events the time we will have to Farm tm's will go down due to clearing new content for story/events.
add in the fact some newer hero's TM's make them godlike (tidus for one) Moogles can be banked by macroer's to unlock TM which make future heroes godlike quicker which will help with future events that require special conditions like clear bosses with only 4 units.
TLDR: 2nd moogle is a good buy for people who don't macro due to they won't be able to unlock TM's quickly without getting every moogle possible. It's also a good buy for people who do macro due to they can bank the Moogle and unlock future heroes TM's quicker that will turn them into gods.
Edit: I did put discussion in the title so please put counter arguments if you have any in the comments but lets stay civil please.
