It has always been a discussion subject, but it was never this wild.
For real, I look in "New" and I see like 3/4 thread talking about the TM, how they would improve it yaddi yadda.
Did everybody woke up and understood how bad a design TM? Or they think they are much more competent at designing a system to keep people addicted to the game/force whale to spend a huge amount of money?
 

Yes we get it, TM is a bad design, yes it's tedious to farm, yes it's stupid, yes it advantages people using macro/paying. But what did you expect? Do you expect them to just hand you the "end-game reward".
Can we please stop with this discussion now. Alim won't change it, neither will gumi, why would they?
 

The TM system is to get people addicted to their game, to give them something to look forward to. It's supposed to be the end-game reward you are willing to PAY for, not something they throw at you like Gils.

They don't want you to earn TMs through any other method than your credit card. They don't want you scripting it in ES. They don't want it to be fair. They don't want it to be any better. Any improvement to the TMR system is a financial loss to them. They already designed a method they would like you to gain TMR's from, and that method is repeated 5000 lapis pulls.
