Our first banner of Global exclusive characters, but are they a trick? or a treat?
As usual, Global ratings are my own opinions relative to other character or TMs available at the time this is written, with Japanese ratings... well don't exist as these are Global exclusive characters.
Rarity: 5* to 6*
Global Party Rating: 6/10
Demon Rain is just a random hodge-podge of abilities.
For spells he brings Fira (140% AOE), Firaga (180% AOE), Stronra (140% AOE) and Stonga (180% AOE) but it makes no sense to attempt to build him as a mage.
He has tank abilities, and Gumi described him as a tank (to which Cecil is still laughing hysterically,) which consist of a 40% change to block an attack with 25% mitigation -- this is the lowest chance to block of any block tank and the lowest mitigation. He has a 75% chance to counter physical attacks
As an attacker he has 156 ATK which, as he has no always-on ATK passives, makes him the lowest 5 star base ATK character yet -- but he does gain 30% ATK when below 30% HP. He also has Doublehand which is fairly confusing on a 'tank' character as normally you would want to equip a shield.
For support he has Power Break (3 turn 15% ATK Debuff) which is completely outclassed by Full Break (or stronger) and Ignite which is a 40% ATK/MAG AOE 3 turn buff which covers the offensive half of Cheer and Focus but unless your party has Protectga and Shellga you will still want their defensive halves.
Finally, he has 20% Summon DMG because... I guess... why not?
Global Trust Mastery Rating: Infernal Armlet - 7/10
Accessory - 20% ATK/DEF and 20% Fire/Earth Resistance
Pretty similar quality to Gaffgarion's Bracer (30 ATK / 15% HP) when equiped on a 6 star character except it doesn't have the same synergy with Doublehand, HP is just a better stat than DEF, but the elemental resists could be nice on the fire or earth based fights (but worthless on all the others.) It's clearly stronger than your Hero's Ring but the stat increase will likely not be as impactful as other TMs you have access to.
Why would you want Demon Rain?: He is a 6 star character and therefore has access to higher base stats. If you have several TMs you could load onto him you could make him a decent attacker but on his own he is very disappointing.
Is he FUTURE-PROOF?: Demon Rain has 6 star, but without supplimentary TMs he won't just be quickly outdated by future 6 star characters, but also some current 5 star characters.

Dracu Lasswell's skillset, while less all-over-the-place than his companion, is still lacking in synergy.
For spells he has Blizzara (140% AOE), Blizzaga (180% AOE), Aerora (140% AOE) and Aeroga (140% AOE) but it makes even less sense to build him as a mage.
As an attacker he has 150 ATK but is also sporting 30% ATK worth of passives. His pièce de résistance ability is called Nightmare Assault and deals 220% Phys ST -40% ATK/DEF -40% Ice Resists for 3 turns. This is a stronger ATK/DEF debuff than Full Break (and for the same number of turns) and the same strength debuff as Ramza's ATK debuff and Delita's DEF debuff combined (but for 3 turns instead of 5.) Unfortunately Lasswell doesn't have a way to exploit that Ice Resist (other than his spells or his LB) nor are there any decent ice based weapons, making the resist debuff only useful if another party member will be using ice based attacks. His other physical attacks include Black Mist (150% Dark Phys AoE (20% HP Cost) 25% Sleep Chance), Hallowed Song (Dark physical damage (2x) with undead killer (50%) to all enemies), the hybrid ability (and remember hybrid abilities aren't good) Bloodlust (200% Hybrid ST 30%/100% HP Drain) and the useless ability normal Lasswell had known as Mirror of Equity (120% ST Physical Attack.)
For support, Lasswell brings single target buff removal with Fingersnap (110% ST Physical Attack & ST Stat Buff Removal)
Finally, Lasswell has Bat Form (65% decreased chance of being targeted) and Mirage (Evade Attacks (Max: 2) for 3 Turns)
Global Trust Mastery Rating: Vampire Cloak - ??/10
20 DEF, 30 MAG/SPR, Enables Evade
I'll have to rate this later when I see what it actually is. I assumed it would be clothing or a robe in which case it's trading away DEF, MAG and SPR over Alma's TM robe for 'enables evade.' I'm hoping they surprise me and it's an accessory...
Why would you want Dracu Lasswell?: He is a 6 star character and therefore has access to higher base stats and unlike Rain he has good ATK for a 6 star. If you have several TMs you could load onto him you could make him a decent attacker by on his own he's okay, but not nearly good enough to justify his 5 star base rarity.
Is he FUTURE-PROOF?: Dracu Lasswell has 6 star, but he will very quickly be out-dated by future 6 star units

White Witch Fina is our first 6 star healer! But for some reason she doesn't have Curaja, Esuna or Dispel?
For spells she has Cure (ST ~150 HP Heal w/ 3x Mod), Cura (AoE ~400 HP Heal w/ 3x Mod), Curaga (ST ~800 HP Heal w/ 3.4x Mod), Blindna, Vox, Poisona, Cleanse, Banish (120% ST Magic Attack), Protect, Shell, and Raise.
For abilities she has Pray (AoE AoE ~100 HP Heal w/ 1x Mod (50% Chance)), Cheer (AoE 3 Turn 40% ATK/DEF), Entrust (Give LB Gauge To Target -- which is great because her LB is AOE Light Magic dmg and therefore not very useful), Divine Burst (250% MAG Light AOE DMG with Undead-killer) and Ritual (Party Recover 30% HP/10% MP (Excluding Self))
Ritual is obviously supposed to be Fina's alternative to Curaja, but the 60 MP per use and not targeting Fina seriously hurts this ability.
Finally, she has Aim (120% ST Physical Attack) because, I guess, normal Fina had it.
Global Trust Mastery Rating: Blessed Bow - 5/10
Bow - 80 ATK, 40 SPR, Bird/Undead-Killer
This is Rosa's bow, but loses 11 ATK and gains Undead-Killer. Rosa's bow was underwhelming and this one is too!
Why would you want White Witch Fina?: She's a straight upgrade to normal Fina if she's your current healer and as the first 6 star healer she has higher stats than our other options but no Curaja, Esuna, or Dispel. You can make her work more easily if your have a Cecil tank to assist with heals, but as a 4 star base unit she will likely require too much of an investment for what she brings.
Is she FUTURE-PROOF?: The next 6 star healer to be released on Global will completely eclipse her.

Black Cat Lid is... surprisingly pretty decent?
Her ATK (100 20%) and MAG (93) stats aren't high and her weapon options are a bit suspect (rod, staff, bow, axe, hammer, gun, mace -- she's completely covered the uncommon weapon types) but she brings a decent DMG ability and some utility.
For spells Lid brings Deprotect (-20% DEF 3 Turn) and Deshell (-30% SPR 3 Turn.)
As an attacker, Lid brings Ultimate Blow (250% Phys ST 35% Ignore DEF) which is REALLY strong -- that's basically equal to a 385% DMG ability making it hit harder than Barrage while also being single target! She also comes with machine killer and undead killer.
Her other physical attacks are Metal Kick (130% ST Physical Attack), Hex Strike (130% Phys ST Chance 30% All Status effects (90% Petrify) [Max: 3].) That is a REALLY high chance to petrify targets that aren't immune!
Her magical attacks (don't build her as a mage when she has Ultimate Blow please!) include Magic Shot (120% ST Magic Attack) and Sunbeam (120% AoE Magic Attack & 30% Blind)
Her final attack is Intervention which randomly uses one of the following four abilities:
- Power Generator (20%): 180% AoE 1 Hit Fire Physical Attack
- Laser Cannon (25%): 140% AoE 1 Hit Thunder Physical Attack
- Blastshot (25%): 100% AoE 1 Hit Physical Attack
- Failure (30%): Nothing!
For support, she also has Focus (MAG/SPR 40% 3 Turn) which is still rare if you didn't pick up Cecil on the last banner, and Healing Force (Heal ~400HP 1.4x to one ally)
Global Trust Mastery Rating: Cat Hat - 7/10
Hat - 15 DEF, 20 MAG/SPR, 25 MP, Nullifies Silence
Stats wise this is the best mage or healer hat we have currently, but it's not much more MAG than the Circlet (15 MAG) and not much more SPR than the Chapeau (12 SPR) but silence immunity on your healer could be incredibly useful in the right fight. As usual equipment TMs aren't making a huge impact on your party and are likely not a priority over other TMs you have access to.
Why would you want Black Cat Lid?: She has Focus and a VERY hard hitting single target attack. If you lack Focus, she should be an easy pickup as the only 3 star base on this banner and with Ultimate Blow she's very possibly better than one of your current damage units.
Is she FUTURE-PROOF?: Black Cat Lid does not have a 6 star upgrade.
~~~~~~
SHOULD YOU PULL?: If you need Focus and missed your chance at Cecil, or you have an under-performing attacker, you probably want to pick up Black Cat Lid as she's the only 3 star base and likely fairly easy to grab. Outside of her this banner is offensively bad especially for hanging around for TWO WEEKS. Fina will be remembered as the worst 6 star healer we ever get. You can kind of make Rain and Lasswell work but they are both 5 star base characters -- these are not characters on the same level as Lightning, Delita, Dark Knight Cecil or Ramza and absolutely do not deserve the resources required to pull a 5 star base character. I've mentioned the comments before that I daily pull from every banner, but this will be the first time since half price pulls were released that I will not be using them.
I am up way too late writing this--please forgive any awful spelling or grammar. I'll clean it up later
