So. Nazta posted a thread with a ton of assets that are going to be used in the upcoming Halloween event. Seeing the new units (Demon Rain, Dracu Lasswell, White Witch Fina and Black Cat Lid) I was pretty excited, and even more by reading their abilities.

In his post, Nazta only wrote down their names, without listing their effects, which were provided by a separate link. So, here they all are:

1) Stab: Unmitigated damage to one enemy

2) Treat: Restore HP for one ally

3) Boo!: Damage and paralyze all enemies

4) Demonic Cover: Chance of taking physical damage for ally

5) Cerberus Guard: Protect others while guarding

6) Demonic Fury: Boost ATK when HP drops below a certain level

7) Ignite: Boost ATK and MAG for all allies

8) Demon's Revenge: Greatly increase chance of countering

9) Bat Form: Greatly decrease chance of being targeted

10) Bloodlust: Drain HP from one enemy

11) Hallowed Song: Damage and undead killer to all enemies

12) Black Mist: Consume caster's HP to damage all enemies, and inflict Sleep

13) Nightmare Assault: Damage and reduce ATK, DEF and ice resistance for one enemy

14) SPR 20%, MP 10%

15) Divine Burst: Light damage and undead killer to all enemies

16) Ritual: Restore HP/MP for all allies except self

17) ATK 10%, HP 20%

18) Hex Strike: Damage and random status ailments to one enemy

19) Ultimate Blow: Unmitigated damage to one enemy

20) Divine Water: Delays effect of 'Death Declaration' for 3 turns

21) [Ability Materia] Chilling Aura: Boost HP and MP by 13%

22) [Ability Materia] Spooky Aura: Boost ATK and MAG by 13%

23) SPR 15%

24) Reap Blood: Damage and drain HP to all enemies

So, what do you think? Considering all the demon-named abilities, we can assume Demon Rain will be a dedicated Cover-Counter tank, while the HP drain abilities and Bat Form makes me think Dracu Lasswell will be an elusive damage dealer, more than anything else. Not sure about Fina or Lid.

So, what do you think, for now? Are you planning on hard pulling/whaling for these exclusive units (if they're in a banner and not obtained through event currency)?

Personally, even if my chances of getting Rain and Lasswell are incredibly low (daily pulls, one 11-Pull and 10 tickets, provided the event doesn't give us 10 more tickets), I'm ready to use all my resouces here, giving up on the FFXIII banner. Mostly because they're exclusive units, and because Rain seems to have great potential.
