Disclaimer: I have only thoroughly played with FFVII, FFT, and maybe FFVIII.

That being said, I am not that sure if the present units faithful to their TMR and LB. Kefka wearing a Ribbon while doing Wings of Ruin to end the world. Exdeath (who is a mostly a tree, IIRC) casting Holy and Grand Cross. Shadow throwing kunai (well that sounds right, right?)

It got me to thinking how awesome and only fitting to have future units be truly faithful to their original game. For instance:

FFVIII Banner: Squall, Rinoa, Quistis, Zell, Selphie, Irvine and Laguna

Squall

TM: Lionheart

LB: Renzokuken --> Fated Circle --> Lionheart

Rinoa

TM: Angel Wing

LB: Angelo Cannon --> Angelo Search --> Wishing Star

Wait I'll try to go deeper...

FFVII Banner: Cloud, Tifa, Aeris, Barret, Red XIII, Vincent and Sephiroth

Cloud 5-7 (lol)

TMR: Ultima Weapon - Greatsword ATK 140 ((present HP/max HP)100) (since his Ultima Weapon damage works that way in FFVII)

LB: 5* Climhazzard, 6* Meteorain, 7* Omnislash

Tifa 4*-6*

TM: Premium Heart - Fist ATK (120 (LB level x 1)) (again, similar to FFVII mechanics)

LB: 4* Beat Rush --> 5* Dolphin Blow --> 6* Final Heaven

Aeris 4*-6*

TM: Reraise Holy Princess Guard - Rod - SPR 50 (1 per 10 units revived by Aeris)

LBs:

4* Healing Wind: AOE 25-75% heal (based on LB level) AOE DEF/SPR 50% for 3 turns

5* Pulse of Life: AOE 25-75% AOE DEF/SPR 75% for 3 turns AOE MP 50%

6* Great Gospel: AOE 50-100% heal AOE DEF/SPR 100% AOE MP restore 100%

Sephiroth 6-8 ^{OP confirmed lol}

TM: Masamune (duh) - Katana 180, Aeris Killer (in PVP, instant KO vs Aeris)

LB: 6* Octaslash --> 7* Super Nova --> 8* One Winged Angel

Just my musings at 4AM while TM farming.

TL;DR 1) Are present units accurate lore-wise (based on their TM and LB)?

2) Gumi, please make sure future units are spot on with their TMs and LBs (if they are already, keep it up). Exvius is all about nostalgia, flavor and lore.
