So yeah, been meaning to post this, but I kept forgetting. For fellow completionists who have been wondering why VotD hasn't appeared in your Monster Guide yet.

The first time you "defeat" him at Lanzelt Ruins, you don't actually defeat him, so the game counts it as a sort-of Game Over. As such, he won't appear in your Monster Guide, even if you Libra/Analyze him.
Just go back to the dungeon, fight him, Libra/Analyze him, then fully wreck him this time, and he'll appear in your Monster Guide.
