That’s what y’all get for voting for Hyoh and Dark Rain. But also as your Loremaster/Lore Tour Host I have also failed in educating all of you in the beauty of the many characters our games' rich history has to offer.

This post is basically to get all of y’all to vote for someone other than another variant of Rain because let’s be serious. We don’t need another Rain from these votes regardless if it’s Hyoh or a Dark Rain variant. We have 17 versions of Rain and if the game keeps going I’m sure we’ll have plenty of other Rains down the line just like how we have equally as many variants of our leading lady Fina.

The long and short of this post if you don’t want to read any further. VOTE FOR SOMEONE OTHER THAN RAIN, HYOH, OR DARK RAIN.

If you’re gonna be in it for the long haul then how about we sit down and enjoy some suggestions of who you should vote for. I’ll be providing some light lore on some characters I personally think deserve some of our votes and breaking these posts down into several posts of 4 to 5 units for the next couple of days. If there’s a character you like I don’t mention but are curious about their history I’ll provide you some story and lore in the comments section. Alde

Alde is one of the only unreleased units currently ranking in the top 5 of the current popularity poll. Now I’m hoping you picked Alde because you think she’s interesting and not because you got tired or looking past the letter ‘A’

So I’m guessing you’re wondering where Alde is from. Well she’s from a cancelled story event we didn’t receive during Season 3. But fear not she’s not a Season 3 character if you’re worried about that and wasn’t a fan of the Hollow Keepers arc. She’s actually related to one of our Chamber of Arms bosses. Elnath the Mech of Fury and Sorrow. Alde’s father was the creator of Elnath and sadly as per Elnath’s story he was corrupted and reprogrammed to kill his creator and the people he protected but Alde survived the massacre.

Now she wanders the world having honed her skills with the spear and dressed in black as if still in mourning over everything she lost, never speaking more than needed, constantly searching for the one she wishes to kill with her spear. But who is she hunting? Elnath, having felt betrayed over someone she considered family? Or does she know the truth and hunt the scientist who corrupted Elnath? Either way her story is sadly one of revenge and will she find closure at the end of her long journey?

Bran and Lunera

Bran and Lunera are two of the central characters of what’s often considered Brave Exvius’s most memorable Story Event ever released, “A Promise Beyond Time”

The last two surviving elves of the surviving tribe who were involved in the War of Paladia 700 years ago after the land they were on would thrown by Vlad into the World of Lapis and would become the continent known as Granoa.

Bran and Lunera’s story was a tragic story of their inevitable deaths that would come over them caused by the miasma plaguing all of Granoa. But not before they met a talented dwarven blacksmith that they would befriend named Ruggles. A story of acceptance with Bran being a very traditional conservative elf who lacks any love and respect for other races except his fellow elves. Lunera welcomed Ruggles into their home of the Forgotten Castle where the esper of Healing Lakshmi also sleeps.

Ruggles wished to save both Lunera and Bran by cultivating a special tree that would produce a medicine to cure their ailments from the Miasma. Sadly, even though the tree blossomed and bore the fruits that would provide a medicine that would protect anyone from the effects of miasma should they venture through the miasma plagued valleys and swamps they can now. Lunera and Bran had long passed. Their dear friend would thus leave a memorial written in the language of the elves that he had learned from his time with his dear friends that would say, “Bran shall love Lunera forever…”

Falma

Falma is a special unit close to my heart from Cid’s story event “Taking To The Skies”

Her story is a simple one but it’s truly a heartfelt one. She dreams of flying. Back in her time before Airships were a reality in the world of Lapis her dream would've been seen as adorable as a child but as an adult was considered eccentric or outright bizarre by those around her.

But Falma is a character about perseverance even when the odds are against you. She continues to persevere despite people insulting her dream, doubting it could ever be real, telling her constantly to give up on it. But she doesn’t. She continues to find innovative and creative ways to make her dream a reality till finally it does by Cid’s hand.

Cid gives her the chance to become the pilot of the first airship. She works hard to understand everything she needs to know in how to maintain and pilot an airship properly till finally she flies the first airship in Lapis. She achieves it. The dream she’s had since she was a child and held on to in her adulthood she finally managed to spread her wings and take to the skies and would continue to do so for the rest of her life. The airship would become commonplace within Lapis thanks to the talents of the pilot known as Falma.

Lila

Lila is an interesting unit I’ve chosen. She has no moments in the story and the only background information we have on her is what’s provided on her unit page. A young monk who was left abandoned and orphaned on a mountain. She was taken in by a Martial Arts Master who would train her in the Martial Arts only to find she was a prodigy. After her master passed she chose to travel the world using her training to help those in need. She was a cheery and naive girl who while recognized as a skilled warrior was fondly remembered for the help she gave and smiles she brought to those in need while she herself brought a bright smile everywhere she went.

So what makes her so special? Well, because of our Community Manager Shaly. Shaly used to say that her favorite unit in the game was Lila. So I felt this suggestion would be a wonderful way for us as the community to memorialise Shaly in a way. By choosing a unit that she liked personally and seeing Lila as a new Neo Vision. I feel this in some way shows we still love Shaly.

Luka

Luka is a prominent character from Season 1 of the Lapis Story. She was present during the majority of the game's story taking place in Olderion and for those who don’t know she is the sister of one of our games protagonists, Nichol. The current Water Priestess of Olderion. It’s Luka’s job to protect Olderion by purifying the waters of Lake Dorr where the Guardian Esper of Olderion Leviathan resides. The waters that she purifies run all through Olderion and the purpose of the purification is that the blessed waters protect the city naturally from monster attacks.

Luka devotes herself to protecting her home and when the water crystal is destroyed and the contamination caused by Veritas of The Waters to Lake Dorr doesn’t subside she makes the selfless choice to sleep at the bottom of the lake with Leviathan by her side to purify the lake of all its contamination even knowing that it may take years upon years to finally complete.

I feel that Luka deserves a unique Neo Vision not only because of both her powers as Water Priestess of Olderion and her close relationship with the Guardian Esper Leviathan but also due to her prominence in Japan’s most recent Anniversary Event where she played a prominent role in the story but was given no unit whatsoever which is definitely a slap to the face to such a predominant character in some of the games earliest story. She could be a very unique Water Elemental unit with healing and support from her Priestess heritage but also a powerful Water Mage with her companionship with Leviathan.
